i have a room for rent in my house on the east side of athens. i'm about 10 minutes driving (5 miles from campus) and close to several food stores and gyms. the house is in a really nice, safe neighborhood. you would have your own room and bathroom upstairs. there are lots of veterinary students in this area. there is a washer, dryer, and dishwasher. i also have internet and cable. rent is $462.50/month, plus 1/2 utils.

i am also married, but my husband lives in indianapolis. he works remotely from my place for two weeks, and then is up in indianapolis for four weeks. when he comes he brings his three dogs. i have three dogs and three cats. i have a fenced in yard so the dogs are pretty much outside during the day and then inside (in my room mostly) at night. there is another bedroom upstairs that is used as an office.
